Continuing on the theme of making quick decisions with the ball, 0-2 seconds, where youre EFG% is 61% and your 2FG% is highest at 55%.....Here's an edit of you 'catching and attacking' right away. Your 3-point shooting is deadly so often times defenders are running at you. When you see that before you catch the ball and begin to start your attack immediately, you are devastating because of you ability to then; 1) pull-up midrange, 2) finish at the rim, or 3) find weak-side shooters.
Keep up the great work.
When we first met at your house the last thing you mentioned was that you'd like to be better at cutting off the ball. I love it. It's a great way to get easy points and even if you don't score off your cut, you suck the defense in allowing teammates to get uncontested shots.
This past season your scored 46 points off cuts and shot 67.7 FG% when you attempted a shot off a cut, your highest FG off any action. For perspective, Giannis this past season scored 206 points off cuts! That's something you can get close to in my opinion and by doing so would open up your shooting, driving, and handle off PR game even more.
Continue to leverage your great shooting ability with quickly attacking close-outs and cutting off the ball. Here's an edit of some of your cuts from this past season.
Continue to cut: Off the post / after offensive rebounds / weak side on drives and PR from Russ
Keep up the great work!
Hope you're well out in Vegas. I'm going to be sending you edits and the first couple will be based on your efficiency with the ball from 0-2 seconds. As you can see below your most efficient when you make quick decisions, touch time 0-2 seconds. Examples of these situations are; catch and shoot, catch and attack close-outs, cut off the ball, and quick moves in the post.
Not only is your EFG% highest from 0-2 seconds but your FG% from 2pt land is through the roof because you're getting easy layups when attacking close-outs and cutting off the ball.
Keep up the great work -- Noah
